This may be the best high flow air filter we have ever sold. It offers an easy and effective way to improve your airflow and your performance in a kit so well-packaged, that it looks as if it came from the factory once installed.
A high flow air filter will allow your engine to breath better - with more air coming in the intake you can take better advantage of other improvements, including performance exhaust systems. After all, why make performance improvements if the engine can't breathe well enough to take advantage of them? It also adds a nice sound to the engine.
Plus, this canister could not be easier to install! The mounting bracket re-uses the original air box mounting points on the frame. Just remove the stock air box and bracket, the new bracket bolts right in place. Then simply install the filter, connect the carburetor, tighten the hose clamp and bottom wing-nut, and you're ready to go.
The kit also includes a rain shield as shown in the picture. You can leave it in place or remove it according to your preference. Replacement air filters are inexpensive and can be purchased from us or from any local auto parts store.
This canister system was proudly designed and built in the in the USA by the the well known Bulleteer and Royal Enfield performance guru Tom Lyons better known as Ace. We are working with Ace on an entire line of tested and proven performance parts - and this product marks the exciting debut of this line.
The Ace Air Canisters will work without modifications on Traditional Iron-Barrel Bullets with Mikarb as well as AVL-based Bullets with the CV carburetor. The kit does work on Electra models, but the right side cover needs to be removed.
